A few days ago, Sony stopped selling the Xperia 1 VII in Japan while it investigates some pretty serious issues - there have been reports of units randomly rebooting, randomly shutting down, and even refusing to turn on. Now Sony UK has an update on the matter. The company says it's still investigating the cause of all these issues, and working on a solution for those affected. In European markets, it's currently in the process of "identifying the extent of the affected stock, as this issue may only affect a select batch of Xperia 1 VII devices".
