The original iPhone launched in June of 2007, which means we’ll be celebrating its 20th birthday in 2027, and Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests Apple is eyeing a major redesign of its most important device. Apple will reportedly launch its first foldable iPhone in 2027, alongside a new iPhone 19 Pro model that “makes more extensive use of glass”. The report does not go into much detail about what that entails, but we’re guessing that would mean a larger percentage of the chassis is made from glass. This could mean a wrap-around screen like on the Xiaomi Mix Alpha or something else...
