Tata buys Pegatron's iPhone making plant in India


Tata Electronics has acquired a 60% stake in Pegatron's iPhone manufacturing plant in India. Back in March last year, Tata also bought Wistron's operations in India, so it's clearly serious about becoming a big player in electronics manufacturing in India. The acquisition of the controlling stake in Pegatron Technology India has been cleared by the Competition Commission of India.
