Samsung is collaborating with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) to broadcast the Paris 2024 Games this summer. For the first time, the opening ceremony will take place outside of a stadium, as the athletes will parade on floating platforms on the Seine. Over 200 units of the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be mounted on these boats, streaming the parade over a private 5G network.
