The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G launched in 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 is receiving the One UI 5.1 stable update based on Android 13. The update has firmware version M426BXXU4DWB1 and requires a download of about 1GB. It comes with the usual One UI 5.1 goodies and the February 2023 Android security patch. The One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy M42 5G is currently seeding in India, but the rollout should expand to other countries soon.
