As spotted by 9to5Google, the Gallery Go app appears to have dropped the “Go” part of its name with its new app icon. With version 1.8.8.436428459, the name of the app is just “Gallery” now. Via 9to5Google Gallery Go first launched in 2019 as a ‘Lite’ alternative to Google Photos for devices with limited hardware.
