Back in May of 2021, Asus unveiled and then released the Zenfone 8. Today, at the end of February 2022, this phone has now finally been announced for the Indian market. Why the huge delay? Who knows, we sure don't. Asus' initial blaming of the pandemic may have made sense many months ago, but hasn't in a while. But wait, there's more weirdness. In India, this handset isn't called Zenfone 8, instead it goes by Asus 8z. It's the same exact phone, though. Anyway, it's now official and if you're in India you'll be able to buy one from Flipkart.
